Priorities?

So I was at the grocery store the other day and I was waiting so I was looking at the magazines and I noticed something that made me laugh out loud and people stared at me.

The store had covered up "Cosmopolitan":

But had left "Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition" uncovered:

I know Cosmo can be a bit risque, but at least it isn't bordering on porn.

People make no sense to me.

I'm still on vacation with my dearest friend Li, so this is all you get.

oh, wow. that's hilarious. there's so much more nudity in the swimsuit issue. but then again, you were at least spared the possibility of running into the word (and i use the term loosely) "va-jay-jay" on the cover of cosmo.

honestly, i'm not sure which is less fit for public consumption.

Very true! What bothers me most, I think, is that both of them were just the right height for babies to see them...

It would have been more funny if the "Better Homes and Gardens" was covered and the other two where not ... LOL.

Ha, that's also true! If only we ran the world...

That's absolutely ridiculous. I don't think Cosmo is exactly the feminist ideal, but I like how what women write about is covered up but what men want is free to flap about in the breeze.

Ugh.

I hadn't thought about it in a men vs. women sort of way. Mostly, I just thought about it in a boobs vs. no boobs sort of way!
